
Fr. Fabio Ciardi, OMI, is professor emeritus of theology of consecrated life at the Claretianum Institute (Lateran University) in Rome. Born in Prato in 1948. He is a consultant at the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. Fr. Ciardi is a member of the Focolare’s Abba School, Interdisciplinary Studies Center. He is director of the Service of Oblate Studies stationed in General House, Rome.

Mary Tyrrell lives on the Wirral peninsular across the river Mersey from Liverpool, England. She is married to David and they have one son who lives in Sierra Leone. He went there six years ago to found a charity which works with street children. Mary was a primary school teacher and for the last 10 years she has worked for Partners in Mission team in the Anglo Irish province promoting the Charism of St Eugene de Mazenod. At present she is involved in the 2nd OLAC 21 Central Working Team.

Stefano Dominici is an Italian oblate lay person. He is 56, and married with Marina and they have the grace to walk together the path in the Oblate family, sharing St. Eugene’s charism. They have two children: Greta (27) and Diego (22). His job is to serve as an Air Force Officer, and Marina is a teacher of catholic religion at primary school. They live in Rome and are both members of Italian MAMI, Rome group. In the past he served for a long period in MAMI as local president of the Rome Group, then as member of the MAMI national council and finally as national president. At present he is actively involved in the 2nd OLAC 21 Central Working Team.

Fr. David Lopez Moreno, OMI. was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1969 and joined the Oblates in 1992 and was ordained as a priest in 1998. He served in different places in Spain in various ministries (parish priest, ministry with Youth, Lay Associates, etc). He also worked on the Cause of beatification of Oblate Spanish Martyrs. He was a member of the General Committee of Oblates and Associates representing European Region until 2010. From 2011 to 2020 he was formator at the Scholasticate of Vermicino (Rome), and from 2012 secretary for the Mediterranean Province. Since September 2020, he belongs to the community of Florence and is in charge of Lay associates (AMMI) for Italy.

Fr. David Muñoz-López, OMI was born in Puerto Rico in 1982. He grew up in South Florida, USA, where he met the Oblates and after high school entered formation. He professed first vows in 2005 and was ordained in 2010 after finishing his studies in Rome. Currently he serves as Pastor of Our Lady of San Juan de Los Lagos Parish & Shrine in San Antonio, Texas. He also serves as the assistant to the Kusenberger Chair of Oblate Studies at Oblate School of Theology and is on the US Province committee for the Mazenodian Family.

Fr. Shanil Jayawardena OMI, is a Sri Lankan Oblate, originally belonging to the Province of Colombo. He received his final vows in 2008 and in the same year was ordained a priest. From 2008 to 2013 he served as a full-time preacher at “Nazareth”, the Oblate Preachers’ Residence in Wennappuwa, Sri Lanka. Then in 2013, he was called to the General House in Rome in view of taking over the responsibility of the General Service of Oblate Communications – which he did, in October 2014. While in Rome he also successfully completed a Licentiate in Church Communications.

Fr. Peter Stoll, OMI was ordained in 1978 and spent most of his Oblate life in Indonesia. He has been involved in several lay and youth movements and now is the General Councillor for Asia Oceania as well as holding the portfolio of Lay Associations. He is stationed in Rome.

The Central Working Team was formed in May 2020 and has met via Skype more than 25 times to do preparations for the Congress in May 2022.
The Central Working Team is under the Internal Mission Committee of the Central Government of OMI.
